CME/CE credit can be awarded upon completion of each module of the MS Boot Camp.

Accreditation and Credit Designation

The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing Medical Education for physicians.

Each module is approved for credit as outlined below:

Pathophysiology Module:

CMSC designates this enduring material for a maximum of .75 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Imaging Assessment Module:

CMSC designates this enduring material for a maximum of .50 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Disease Modification Module:

CMSC designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Symptom Management Module:

CMSC designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Patient-Centered Care Module:

CMSC designates this enduring material for a maximum of .75 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Participants will have the opportunity to claim credit when logged in, and upon completion of required components of each module (ie, two audiocasts, a post-test, and a short evaluation).

Nurses

This activity is co-provided by CMSC, ACHL, and Nurse Practitioner Alternatives (NPA).

Nurse Practitioner Alternatives is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Each module is approved for credit as outlined below:

Pathophysiology Module:

It has been awarded .75 contact hour for nurses and advanced practice nurses.

Imaging Assessment Module:

It has been awarded .50 contact hour for nurses and advanced practice nurses.

Disease Modification Module:

It has been awarded 1.0 contact hour for nurses and advanced practice nurses (1.0 is in the area of pharmacology).

Symptom Management Module:

It has been awarded 1.0 contact hour for nurses and advanced practice nurses (0.5 of this is in the area of pharmacology).

Patient-Centered Care Module:

It has been awarded .75 contact hour for nurses and advanced practice nurses.
